A framework, not a package
Five days is our preferred core because it gives the story room to breathe. Yet no two groups arrive with the same flight times, mobility, teaching priorities or appetite for long days.
Seven Churches Tour is the biblical travel brand operated by Gezginol Turizm ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti., a licensed Turkish travel agency registered with TÜRSAB under license number 15746. Its local team arranges the sequence, hotels, meals, transport, guides and daily rhythm around each group.
This is a sample operating framework. Your final itinerary is prepared only after we understand your group.

A thoughtful five-day route
The order can shift with flights, season, hotel availability and your group’s priorities. The biblical and historical integrity of the journey remains.
Day 1Arrival in İzmir
Meet your Türkiye-based team at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport. After hotel arrival, begin with an orientation to Revelation 2–3, the Roman province of Asia and the geography that connects the seven cities.
Day 2Ephesus · Smyrna
Explore Ephesus in depth, including its streets, theater and civic monuments, with St. John’s Basilica. The House of the Virgin Mary can be considered when requested. Continue to ancient Smyrna in modern İzmir.
Study Ephesus before the journey
Day 3Pergamum · Thyatira
Ascend the acropolis of Pergamum and consider the setting behind Revelation 2:12–17. The Red Basilica may be included according to timing and interest. Continue to the remains of Thyatira in Akhisar.
Day 4Sardis · Philadelphia · Laodicea
Move east through Sardis and Philadelphia before reaching Laodicea. Archaeology, ancient roads, water systems and the biblical texts are read together throughout the day.
Day 5Hierapolis · Departure or extension
Visit Hierapolis and consider the Lycus Valley context before departure. Most groups return through İzmir Airport; Denizli Airport is used only when schedules make it genuinely practical. Istanbul, Cappadocia and Pauline extensions can follow.
